Selling all as a set. Early nineteenth century hand forged drawknives in good condition for their age. There is some rust as they have not been restored. The blades are in good condition and have not seen much use, other than aging for decades naturally in a toolbox.
The specs are:
• Large – 22” overall length, 14” blade, 1 8/10” width, handles have original brass ferrules
• Medium – 19” overall length, 12” blade, original handles
• Small – 17” overall length, 10” blade length, original handles
• Smallest – 7” overall length, 3” blade. This one-handed knife looks like it was repurposed after the original knife was broken.
I was told the wrought iron tool is a very early English rail tie loosener/yardman tool. I can’t find anything like it online. It’s made from one piece of wrought iron and weighs approximately 25 lbs. Hammer marks are visible all over the shaft and head. It does not have a maker’s mark. L 34”
These are available for local pickup only, cash only. The price ($200) is firm. If you are interested, let me know. I will answer any questions I can. Thank you.
