A new non-profit humanities research center, which has beautiful office space next to Yale's campus, is looking to build a member's library, open 24/7, to recreate some of the positive academic community we've lost.

Are you an academic or student starved of an in person connections to like minded people, or a place to work that feels like the kind of environment you're used to? Well, the local university libraries are highly restricted, but the Governor's executive orders provide a lot of flexibility for private organizations - so we think their is a real need for this.
We will also be running in-person (member's only) reading groups, works in progress sessions, and dinners in our conference room, starting spring 2021.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please contact me. Unfortunately we are funded by member contributions only - the more members we have the lower the contribution dues will be, and we will waive them for people who can run classes, reading groups, or in person workshops if there is a demand for those activities.
If this sounds appealing, please email us:
- a link to your website if you have one
- your academic discipline if you have one - what kind of work you do if you don't.
- how you'd like to make use of the space
- The maximum amount you'd be willing to contribute a month while we're getting this off the ground, and what you think is a reasonable amount after we have enough members to reduce rates
Thank you and hope to hear from you.
