1953 Mercury Custom 4dr. sedan. Nice original car with lots of work done in recent years including brakes, fuel system, radiator, and engine overhaul.. the Flathead V8 runs fantastic and does not overheat. The Merc-o-matic transmission is also trouble free. Its a good running and driving car thats ready to enjoy NOW! Brand new dual exhaust with glasspacks with a nice vintage sound. The car was garaged most of its life and it shows, The body and floors/supports are really solid with no rot holes or rust out.. the interior is in great shape and all the gauges and lights signals work as they should.. I have the original sales invoice from 1953. The paint is showing age but I don't mind because its a well preserved car.
I'm in no rush to get rid of this car. I'm just putting my feelers out there for a possible trade for other 1930s -1950s cars in similar condition and road worthy.. No trucks please! Manual transmission a plus. will sell outright for $8500
