We are a New American bistro serving cuisine from our made-from-scratch kitchen. We are looking for an experienced line cook with skills in preparing high quality cuisine. Duties and Responsibilities
Prior to service, kitchen members are responsible for prepping ingredients and dishes for service and setting up their station (mis en place). Each team member is responsible for following recipes and preparing dishes as prescribed. At the end of dinner service, each person is responsible for cleaning their own station, wrapping food service items and assisting in cleaning common areas for the next service.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 3 years cooking experience at a full-service restaurant - cooking from scratch
Basic kitchen etiquette and safety
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
Organized with ability to manage demand from multiple tickets
Culinary Degree a plus but not required
ServSafe certification preferred
Must be available evenings and weekends
