condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Gretsch
This is the "original" Gretsch 1950's Model 6120 "Vintage" Chet Atkins " guitar that everyone wished they owned instead of a copy from Korea, Japan or China. It's all "original" with Deluxe case. This baby is truly a collectors items. It is U.S.A. made from the 50's. It has the "original Patent Applied Filtertron pickups" that were installed back in the 50's when the guitar was made. Same rare sought after guitar Brian Setzer used with the Straycats. It should be sold to someone who would appreciate the craftsmanship, tonal quality and playability of an instrument of this caliber. I have used this guitar with my GK2A synthesizer. The pickup is attached by adhesive tape on the plastic pickup ring and comes off easily. Pickup not sold with the guitar. This guitar is only going to increase in value. Dealers don't bother. I will not respond to questions asking if still available. Cash only.
