Vintage Briarwood/Brunswick Circus Pinball Machine, 1980. Model #55-860195-7, single player, yellow cabinet, circus theme illustrations, blinking light console, LED scoreboard, 2 flippers, 3 pinballs, plexiglass top, raised on metal legs. In Good Working Condition. New rubber rings installed.
Brunswick Manufacturing Company was a multi-product mechanical machine company that designed and supplied indoor bowling machinery. Between 1976-80 it also manufactured and marketed exciting pinball games to the home market under the brand name Briarwood. This allowed Brunswick to take advantage of the popularity of the game at the time. Besides Circus, it produced four other solid state games: Cosmic Pinball (Brunswick, 1977), Alive (Brunswick, 1978), Aspen (Brunswick, 1979), and Demolition Classic (Brunswick, 1979).
