Do you find yourself constantly talking about technology? Do you love showing beginning developers new coding techniques? Would you enjoy having the ability to teach thousands? Are you comfortable behind the microphone or on camera?

Technical Instructor/Mentor
The Technical Instructor/Mentor has two areas of responsibility. First you'll work with our online students and assist as they proceed through the LAMP stack courses in our online Framework Professional Developer Program. You'll will answer questions in our general Slack forums, on Facebook and within other technical forums for our online courses.

You will also be part of our content development team. LearnToProgram Media is a rapidly growing media company that produced content that teaches web and mobile development.

Once engaged, as a content developer you will help produce and host live webinars, video tutorials, and video programs designed to teach beginners web and mobile development techniques. Your work will be seen by a large audience and you'll receive authorship credit on the content you create. This is a great opportunity to get published and build a strong resume-- in addition to affect many people trying to learn development.

You will also occasionally present at monthly live hack nights in New Haven....

You must be able to work evenings and weekends on a part time basis from our New Haven studio

Be physically available to work in the New Haven area (much work can be done from home)
Speak and write clear, understandable, generally error-free English
Be proficient in HTML5 and Javascript or Mobile Development (Android, iOS or Hybrid)
Have strong on-camera Charisma
Be able to write engaging scripts, video descriptions and step by step technical tutorials
