A real eye catching piece of history. Substantial unit has some weight even though it looks like it would be light. Probably due to all hardwood hand crafted construction. Looks to be a few different woods, possibly mahogany and cherry or maple.
This piece was owned by a Yale doctor couple in their architect restored 1820s Victorian triple decker house two doors from the beach in expensive Pine Orchard association in Branford CT. It traces back to the 1970s at that location.
