Machine Operator – Landscaping / Excavation

Pay: $25–$35/hr (based on experience)

Bollinger Landscaping is hiring a skilled machine operator for grading, drainage, and site work. We are looking for someone who knows how to run equipment properly — not someone we need to babysit.

Responsibilities
Operate skid steer, mini excavator, tractor, and related equipment

Grading, trenching, drainage installs, and site prep

Load/unload machines and trailers safely

Work efficiently with a small, professional crew

Respect equipment and job sites

Requirements:

Proven machine operating experience (non-negotiable)

Comfortable with grading and drainage work

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)

Shows up on time, works independently, takes direction

Landscaping / excavation background strongly preferred

Pay Structure:

$25/hr – solid operator, limited supervision

$30/hr – strong operator, efficient, trustworthy

Up to $35/hr – highly skilled, multi-machine, lead-level ability

Pay is based on real experience, not years claimed.

Schedule:

Full-time

Overtime available during peak season

Local work (Fairfield County)
