Selling my 100 watt 1988 Marshall JCM 800 (2203) with accompanying B-52 4x12 straight cabinet (model LG-412S). The two together sound unbelievably amazing. Both have served me well for years but I just don’t play like I used to, so it’s time for them to go to a good home.
Local pickup only. Open to fair offers as well. Please reach out with any questions!
About the JCM 800:
In good condition and just serviced at Nexus Audio in Milford (new tubes, bias, and cleaning). It’s 100 watts and sounds glorious. It’s from 1988 and has been loved, used, and played, and as such shows signs of use. I did my best to capture all signs of wear in the pictures but some did not show no matter how hard I tried to get them to show in the photos. There are a few rips in the tolex and other scuffs.
“This amp is famous for its massive headroom and touch sensitivity, meaning your pick attack dictates the level of crunch
High Input: Activates the full preamp circuit, offering more gain and bite.
Low Input: Bypasses the first gain stage, providing a cleaner, more vintage Plexi-style tone that makes an excellent platform for external pedals”
About the B-52 cab:
In good condition and also loved, used, and played, this cab does show signs of usage. Again, I tried my best to capture all signs of wear.
“Loaded with four custom B-52 speakers with a power handling of 400 watts, the LS-412 guitar speaker provides outstanding headroom and tonal clarity. This 4 x 12" cabinet is rear ported for extreme low end. It provides crystal clear highs and heavy distortion with classic breakup.”
